Vincent Bandy is an architect and the founder of VBA. He received a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, a Master of Science in Business Administration degree from Boston University and a Master of Architecture degree from Harvard University.
He is a registered architect in New York and West Virginia, a member of the American Institute of Architects and is listed with the Architektenkammer Baden-Wurttemberg in Germany. Concurrent with his practice, he serves as a Design Critic in Architecture at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design.

David Theisz is a project architect at VBA.
He received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Michigan and a Master of Architecture degree from Harvard University.
His prior experience includes studio work with Toshiko Mori in Kyoto, Japan, a semester in the offices of Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron in Basel, Switzerland and an internship with the Office for Metropolitan Architecture in New York City.
Felipe Oropeza Jr

Felipe Oropeza Jr is a project architect at VBA.
He received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree Cum Laude from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Master of Architecture degree with Distinction from Harvard University.
His experience includes a research of waste to energy architecture with Hanif Kara and Leire Asensio-Villoria that culminated with the publication of Architecture and Waste – A Replanned Obsolescence and an internship with HOK in Chicago. His graduate thesis – an ambitious reimagination of the former Chicago Post Office – was honored with an award of Distinction.
Our practice is strengthened through established collaborations with many globally-recognized design consultants. In addition to our own staff of architects, designers and intern architects, we regularly ally with Kendall/Heaton Associates as our architect of record.
